I lay awake at night, I am surrounded by tree's, a thick part of the forest that I have not ventured too before. If only it were quiet... there is so much activity in the night, some of the critters that live for the night to hunt and others to continue moving to other areas of the land.
This evening in particular has a festival close enough that I can hear the fireworks, even though the night is winding down. The townsfolk of a nearby kingdom, of which the king has been missing for some time, in his absence was left what can only be perceived as a tainted crown left by a lost soul who once was great.
Not far off in the distance is a new area I found! I find it joyful during the day, many fish to be had in this area, pieces of shattered stone lay all along the river bank, of which I found to be blissful in the dark of night.
Continue I must, my journey has just begun and I must seek refuge and potential guidance and help for the kingdom I leave behind, in all its floundering. A darkness hovers over it like a witch's curse using Black feathers tangled in twine to represent our town in its grasp.
